This week in science, the 8th agers are "engineers".  They are creating houses that can withstand a hurricane.

As the ninth agers  work through a unit on space, one students older sister got the chance to practice her 8th grade final project in the planetarium with the class!

How much does one kilogram weigh in pounds?  How light is a gram?  The 8th agers are experts with grams and balance scales - we are ready for liquids now..... onto chemicals!
